My name is Alan Crowe and I live on the South Coast of England in a town called Bournemouth.

I first started listening to Orchard FM around 1992 after the excellent Exeter-based station DevonAir re-launched and I didn't like the new sound of the station. I re-tuned my radio to Orchard FM and was instantly hooked by the friendly presenters and great mix of music from the 60's through the present. When I first started this site in 1997 it consisted of just one page. As you can see, the site has now grown to what it is today.

You may notice that this site is now more of a "How things were" as opposed to "How things are"!
