Richard joined Orchard FM around 1996 to presnet shows at the weekend, he also shared the weekday evening shift with James Richards.

Richard sounded like an all round nice guy, and also presented shows such as "Solid Gold Sunday" which gave listeners a chance to win "Lunch on Lavelle".

An opportunity to present shows on Spire FM took Richard to his home town of Salisbury.

I have been told that Richard is now driving trains for Virgin Railways, and several people have claimed to have seen him in the cab of their trains!
