Chris joined Orchard FM in the early 90's after making his mark as an excellent broadcaster on such South West stations as Classic Gold and Radio West.

Chris presented various different shows on Orchard over the years but is probably best remembered for his weekday evening shows. Shortly before he left Orchard FM Chris covered for a poorly Bob McCreadie on the weekday Breakfast Show.

Made famous by Chris were competitions such as "The Chryptic Composition"
